Household Support Fund

This is a government initiative, paid through the council, specifically to provide support to vulnerable households in most need of support this winter as the economy recovers.

The Department for Work and Pensions has awarded councils money under the Household Support Fund designed for vulnerable households and families, with or without children, who require support.

This means they are struggling to afford essential food and utility bills and have no other available support.
